Do you have a 90/10 set up on the shocks
raising the front a little will help,
also you need to set the suspension up at launch height so it runs straight and true down the strip.
set the pinion angle too this will also make a difference
dont hold the car against the convertor as this negates weight transfer

I would say your front is too high if it is that much off the bump stops - have they been cut down?

My personal expeience is that you want the front as low as possible for weight transfer, so cranking up the torsion bars is not a good plan....

OK here's how I would set it up. For a start get shot of those flamin' fenderwell headers that cause you so much grief, and replace them with a good set of underchassis headers. This will give you enough room to fit a 7.10 Moroso drag tyre that is about 28" tall, then set the shocks to 90/10 and adjust the torsion bar bolt to have the car sitting about a 1/4" off the bump stops. Re set the front end alignment once you've done that so you don't get into any nasty bump steer problems. This will allow the front suspension to rise fast and with the maximum amount of upward travel which is what you want for best weight transfer. Set up like that, don't worry about the rake, it will work. Set the pinion snubber to just touching the floor with you in the car and a tank full of gas, once you have the front end sorted.

Just to clarify I'm talking about 1/4" off the lower bump stops not the upper ones. You can cut down the upper bump stops to get even more travel.
