Need more information, will it hook up or is it wheelspinning off the line?

What is the weight of the car+driver. Need that to see how much power you are making and how much time you lost to wheelspin.

Lets call it 3368lbs then.

You are making 200hp at the rear wheels.

The best you are going to manage is a 14.9 with that combo on a good day with no wheelspin.

If you are at max rpm in third gears are not going to help.

Well mine made 15.20 @ 90 (ish) with it's 2.92 open axle. I could never get it to go any quicker than that though. I reckon with that gearing you should be able to get your technique pinned down to a 14.9.

I ran 15.2 with a 7 1/4 open (2.76s), 205/70x14s and a basically stock 318. So you are in the ball park. Keep on keeping on, but remember once you get hooked there ain't no return road............(And then you can cut yer car up for scrap :roll: )

same here stock 318 open diff, on a 7 1/4, ran 15.2 at 91, aint gunna get any fast on the tyres

Don at FBO has a early Barracuda with a 318, that thing is in the 10's, no gas....
