This picture is the very first car that I ever designed and painted. It also happens to be the first V8 powered car that I ever drove.

This was an all steel body Valiant and originaly the first Funny Car in Australia.

Those were the days..."Fire Burnouts" showmanship was alive and well!

This is the Monaro Funny Car that I built the body for, it has been narrowed 9in and lengthened 18in, I also drove this Funny Car.

In living color, I also designed, painted and lettered this car

This pic below is Gene Beaver who John Force is related to, Force first drove a Funny Car in Oz when Beaver got him to come to Oz to drive the "La Hooker" Beaves is helping us tune the funny car and I am standing patiently waiting.

This is the Holden Torana hatchback that I built the body for after the Monaro....the butterflies are just about shut here.....I could still make out the lights going down the side of the strip through the smokey fog, but there was a point where you had to bachoff. We weren't the quickest car, but we put on a great show

Different paint job, different injection, different power output, smoked out the cockpit and had to backpeddle for a moment to clear the smoke, throttled it again and smoked the tyres the length of the quarter taking out the timimg lights at the traps

i was thinking... maybe you were actully australian and had kept a rip roaring career on the track a secret for all this time..... it is possible you know i've never met you :) you have always been there when i haven't

now fire burnouts thats what the NATS needs....we could use fireforce to light it....

Fair nuff Dave! It is from I guy on a painting forum.. He is an amazing artist but very shy. When we got onto Mopars, he totally opened up!

Great bit of history there though. Bet Kev will like em.
