Are 'speed week' and 'world of speed' the same thing ?

Anyone been ?

speed week

is it a term relating to the major come-down after a particularly strenuous weekend...... see snakes coming out of the cracks in the pavement... suffering from shrinkle dinkle and all that malarky

world of speed dunno but it sounds like fun ???

You see on any other board, that sort of answer would seem unusual. Round here though....
