Since I saw Motorhead at Hammersmith Odeon (sorry, Apollo)....and I still can't hear properly in my left ear..............

Mind, you it was the 2nd time in a week that I saw them.
NANA - if you though Motorhead at Cambridge was loud.....

Still, seeing AC/DC next year, that should sort it out...

So....should I have the raised whit letters showing, or on the inside like Old Skool????

No, what's the point of that?....I stood next to the stacks!!!

Rowena is about the same as me, except she can't hear in her right ear - must be a female thing - we decided the volume was slightly below actual physical pain; but hell it was one loud gig.

...and they had lots of fire breathing (I DO mean it) semi-naked women on the stage for 2 numbers. Who said art was dead?

A brilliant antidote to all the modern pop crap; long may Lemmy tour, 63 years old and still rocking....

Gawd love the ugly miserable old git (Lemmy, not you Pete ;) )

Never been anyone like him, never will.
Never been a band like Motorhead, never will.

We went to see Pat Travers a few weeks ago in the back room of a pub in north London :? and I suffered a bit in the ear dept for a day or so after, but more often than not these days, I reckon they need to turn it up a few notches!!

Sounds good Pete (or not as case maybe).
I once took those squashy-style earplugs, as I was taking my then 14 year old son, and wifey was worried for his ears.
Complete waste of time. You realise there is a threshold whereby more sound enters your body than through ears alone. :thumbright:

I was somewhat surprised when I noticed that the bottom half of my trousers were actually moving due to the vibration  NO - I was NOT wearing flares....

Still got a whistle in my left ear today.....I should know better at my age

I just got this mental picture of Pete moshing in his whistle and flute and his tie flying around...it's all very worrying...

I have sympathy... Tinitus in both my ears, so permanent whistling here! That's from too many loud gigs for too many years, some attended, some played and one big pyro going off by accident right under my ear! :(

:stummin:
