did anyone get pics of the 70 general lee? i chatted to the owner for a while but forgot to take any pics. doh!
(and that doesnt stand for dukes of hazzard on this occasion!)

This the one Will, the plate does say '69 though?....very nice. I do like the black bumper, looks a lot meaner! This also illustrates one of my pet hates, people who shove bits of paper under the wipers of all the cars, ruining some nice photos :angry5:

Dave! Know what you mean about leaflets. I usually take them off the car before piccing it. That Cornet Owner has been on here. Sweet 8)

cheers dave, hangon, how come that car can have a H prefix (1991) plate?!

Car is 440 powered by the way and i was well impressed by the mega polished rims, and the trick engine (aluminium heads etc!)

thanks for pictures of the coronet next job is to sort out the dash.
loads of nice cars on show i thought it was a same that they let in so many old cortinas and escorts and some real nice motors could not park in the arena

Funny that,I was in my mates OLD MK2 Lotus Cortina parked behind the Mauve Barracuda,he has been offered ?11000 for it by a serious buyer,a Mk 1 has just gone for ?30000+........... :D

It is wheels day not a dedicated yank show. What were your first cars? Mine was a bog ford pop 103e then a mk1 escort van with 1600e lump & frenched lights :oops: Some of those owners may move on to better things later. They might also be members of Surrey street rodders,hence they are allowed in. How nice it would be to see cars lined up by manufacturer instead of just randomly parked imagine that sea of Mopars :D
