Ivor's Road Runner...getting closer

Post by Ivor »

For the first time in a year, the car is at ground level, straightened out the doors, prepped and painted them, even cutting around the VIN tag...Alex, you've got a lot to answer for...I'll be putting cop car wheels on next!

With some from help for Roger yestyerday, the fenders and hood went on for panel realignment and they'll be prepped and painted within the next couple of weeks.

Still love that Jamaica Blue..

Blimey Ivor, B5 blue is my favourite Mopar colour. I used to have a B5 '69 Beeper. It'll look gorgeous when you've finished.

Hey Jim, have you re-written the rule book?

My fender tag says B7!

I've taken a few days of work to get things moving and at long last I've got the body as straight as I can...those of you who know the car will now that it had led a tpough life and there wasn't a straight panel on the car, even the roof was dented.

Anyway, I've etch primed it and given it three coats of black multi filler...tomorrow, barring catastrophes, which tend to happen whenever you are doing bodywork, it should all be Jamaica Blue.

Then comes the good bit, bolting all the bits on!
