remember seeing a jet car crash , at santapod killing someone on the news years ago in the 80s , either on bbc look east or anglia ,
showed video , think it was hellbender or that shaped car , there was two similar !! car turnd right at the top end or close to !! or something ??

See the links above Steve, Vampire and Hellbender. Hellbender had a fatal crash in 1981 (Mark Woodley), Vampire nearly killed Richard Hammond in 2006.

If it was not the Hellbender crash that killed Allan 'Bootsie' Herridge then how was he killed??
I know both Hellbender and the identical Vampire jet cars were both built by 'Bootsie' Herridge.
Bootsie was my favorite driver when I was a lad. He did just about everything to build the sport up to what it is today.

An old girlfriend of mine is a friend of Sylvia...didnt know anything about her Drag racing history
Then she told me her mate Sylvia had just had some "work" done and asked if she should too ? then went on to tell me she used to race cars
I put 2+2 together and asked if her last Name was Hauser...she said that it was...still not bumped into her yet, but guess i will sometime soon as Yvette and Sylvia live close to each other.
