A new roof skin is a nice solution, but not in my budget, and I do like the idea of keeping the sunroof as it was factory or dealer fit.
The rest of my roof is really good round the edges, where they are usually a problem.

Having had the medical scares in the past, I have decided to get this car together asap, as time runs away and it will never get done.

It will not be perfect, but it will be usable and on the road, 17 years off the road is too long.

Its a battery powered 1/2 scale Ford GPA. Its basically Toylander running gear with a scratch built body by Jack and I to look like a WW2 amphibious Jeep.

Done a little bit more in the cold snap. Sunroof tray is now all seam sealed, painted with smooth Hammerite and bolted in place, slide mechanism all greased up and re-fitted.
