Spotted this 1970 Caddy (I think??) In Birmingham today. Not everyones cup of tea but I like it. For a really big car the lines are really quite nice. Looked very original and complete apart from the silly looking rear indicators. Paint a bit faded etc but I like it.

Cheers, Steve

Yeah, seems to make my Polara look like a mini!!

Dont know who the guy is who owns it but I know he has had a few big classic American cruisers over the years. There is usually an International Harvester truck parked a few houses down and I assume its his aswell but it wasnt there today

Yeah, it really does look big! Ive never seen the guy driving any of his cars. The street he lives in is in an older part of Birmingham and they are narrower than most so it looks even bigger!!

Rather partial to a Cadillac myself, bought my first one, a 68 Fleetwood, in 1990 and have pretty much always owned at least one ever since except for a brief flirtation with a very nice Oldsmobile from 2003 to 2006. Ive owned and driven pretty much every model year from 49 to 69. Currently i have a 56 Coupe and a 57 Convertible

I used to cruise around Newcastle in the early hours with a mate in an early 60s caddy. Bloody lovely car to just cruise around with no-where to go in.

I like Caddys :thumbright: i like the 67/68 Elderado =P~ a member here had one for sale a few years back with lovely green paint and razor sharp looks =P~ look at the front and rear of them 8-)

69 to 72 also look good like Dunc says :thumbright:

The film he is on about is called Highwaymen.Well worth a watch,a cross between The Hitcher and Deathproof.

The Killer in it is in a Pepper Green 72 Elderado big HP motor in it with a Lenco Transmission looks cool inside and out.

The Hero is in a 68 Hemi Barracuda (mr norms) and has been chasing the killer for years, like the Hitcher the Police thin the hero in the Barracuda is the Killer.

This is well worth a watch clip here.
