Looking at the rear it looks like an old VW Beetle, so I'm guessing German bloodline.......

That's really spooky was at our local meet this morning before this was posted and was talking to a bloke that had one back in the 1970's. When the V12 engine broke he put in a flat head when that one went the same way he chopped the roof off and made a cabin for his boat. In 1969 I had a 1934 Hudson Terraplane and a girl that I was going out with at the time dad had a Lincoln Zephyr in his garage it was mint that how I knew what it was.
