Not an easy task. Very nicely done though.

I think if I was going to attempt something like that I would have used a stroked small block. Or a 383/400 at the most. There would have been a lot more room for it.

I wouldn't want the weight of a 440 up front in one of those,they're tail happy with a 1600cc in there.

The weight of this Super Seven is good balanced,
because the engine is far behind the front axle
and Tank and Battery is behind the rear axle.

Weight distribution:
51% front
49% back

440 Engine + 727 Trans are from '67 Chrysler 300
8 3/4 Rearaxle with 489er Case are from '71 Super Bee

The Super Seven weighs 830kg complete with a full fuel Tank

I don't think you'd get it to hook up Pete, you'd struggle with weight transfer & a lack of weight to transfer aswell. Would be fun to play with though.

We saw a "Basic" 7 hammer a Ferrari 355 at the Pod.
Must have been a massive ego deflater for the man with the trophy blonde.

You must admit, it would be fun trying to get it hooked up.

There is a guy with something like that (Maybe a Westfield or Spartan or something?) with SBC power that used to be regular at York Raceway.

It was bloody quick.

Don't get me wrong, they are relatively quick, it's just that they are designed to go around corners which doesn't translate to best acceleration characteristics.
