Only if you give me a 2 second head start!!!!!! 8-)

Be good to catch up with you to Stewart!! :thumbright:

How much head start are you planning on giving me??? ;)
A body vs A body.........i want the wheezy 318 crown, so that would be a 0. :D

Apart from that, if you keep going at the rate you have this year, i have no chance next year...... :help:

Classic Industries among others sell the upper column parts to get rid of the original shifter.

Lovely sound out of it Dave :thumbright: like the shift must really be hard on full throttle :thumbright:

I changed 2-3 at 4k after i put the camera down..........and it feels like its going to rip the rear end off.
Going to take it easy until the NATS now, so it gets to the POD in one piece. :D 8-)

Took the car back down to Jims as i was convinced something wasnt right. Car was just flat after 4k rpm.
Id kind of guessed that it may be lack of secondarys, but wanted to confirm the issue.

Also had a 1" phenolic spacer to go on, so had a Sat morning down at the garage with a paperclip and lots of road tests.

Confirmed that id not got secondarys......so Jim guessed that it may be the diaphragm of the vac sec pod.
Opened the top to find a split. Problem solved.

Lucky for me Jim had a good spare, so that went on.
Removed the auto choke assembly and the choke plate while he was there.

Now ready for the NATS and it will be intetesting to see, as all the issues of last year are now solved or upgraded.

Changed the thermostat housing at the 11th hour as id had a leak for 12 months. Trev D billet one went on, the car is now water tight.

A great NATS weekend. The car ran well and did over 200 miles without issue. Did 6 runs on the Friday and called it quits as i had 2 times with .004 of each other.

An improvement of 2.1 seconds from last year dropping from 17.69 @ 75.29mph to 15.58 @ 87.35mph.
Went into the weekend secretly hoping for a 15.9, so to go from a hope of high 15s to mid 15s made me extreamly happy.

Ignore the 12 second passes. They gave the same number to a late model Challenger.
I had it changed after my third run. Unfortunately they lost mt first run which im told was a 15.99, so only the five are shown...........
