chassis tag location

When I bought my coronet the tags came with all the paperwork, not attached to the car. Can anyone tell me where the polished stainless looking tag is supposed to be mounted?

Hi,
Not sure what year Coronet you've got there but the 1st gen Chargers and the Coronets did share a few traits and my VIN tag looks identical to yours. On my '66 it's located on the drivers side door frame. You may want to have a look round there to see if you can spot a mounting point as it was usually riveted on.
