Any problem with having different load ratings front to back

Post by MilesnMiles »

Need new truck tyres and wondered if there is any problem in having a lower load rating o the front tyres compared to rear.
Truck is Dodge D200 and is MOT'd as a car/light vehicle (type 4) for which load ratings are not checked.

Should be no issue at all providing the the lowest rated tyres are at or above the spec for the vehicle that they are used on Miles.

OK mate, hoped that would be the case. Just need to know how to work that out out now!
Currently has 109 ratings on rear and front, but the size tyres i'm looking at for the front have a slightly lower rate of 102-104.
