yes steve i thought her music was the bollax and she is the original dirty little cow to me,
i just think 70,s blondie. sweeney, starsky, stock cars custom cars, drag racing, dodge challenger, raleigh choppers,
long gone but a brilliant era
tryin me hardest to recreate it though, ha ha just got a reverse mohikan now,

Yes...a horrible thought of me dragging myself round my bedrom holding the cover of Parralel lines in one hand and shaking hands with the unemployed in the other!!!
Great era as you say Dunc and I was a a very impressionable age so I thought they were all gods!
Great documentary....as are most of BBC4s stuff. New York looked like a right dump in the mid 70s!!

Not the biggest Blondie fan but a great documentary nonetheless. Didn't realise they fell victim to the music business sharks, not only did they not make much money themselves but also got bankrupted by huge tax bills.

Aah yes, I remember going to see them in concert as a teenager and being mightily diappointed when Debbie Harry wore some baggy green jumpsuit.....

I have seen Blondie at the Festival of Speed, and Debbie Harry playing with the Who, where she was very much out of place.
Orignal Punk Icon....lips that could suck start a snow blower..........

Not the biggest fan but she did some great songs.
And of course she was hot !
Wendy James was " the" blonde for me as a testosterone fuelled teenager !
