EFI or Carbs on my 8/71 blower

Post by autofetish »

I need to decide as now need to order stuff

I know nothing about carbs and they scare me.
EFI I feel more comfortable with but have never had to deal with it at this level

Cost of efi complete compared to Carbs + linkage + etc EFI comes in 40% more in cost
This is as my planned fuel system will handle efi as well.

I spoke with Mopar mark about a year ago and the cost scared me off.

I spoke to Anton and he said get carbs first you have a bench mark

But its wasted money if I get efi later.

Gents both thanks for your time

Help !

What do i do :? :? :? :? :? :?

You're not confident around carbs but you are around EFI.
You'll go to EFI eventually anyway.
EFI will be easier (for you) to set up and get right.
It'll use less fuel, that'll offset the cost, slightly...
It'll suit your modern take on the Charger.

It speaks for itself mate ;)
No-one will believe you...

Go EFI, do it once, set up with lap top , cam and idle vacuum easier to contend with etc. etc. ;)

EFI, the way I was intending with mine. Got a huge throttle body off a BMW V8 with all the necessary bits, was going to mod a single plane inlet with injector bungs.Got the ecu. never got round to it.
