I've watched the last 2 days and he wasn't there. I assume he would be in the unlimited class, Bailey ran a 6.54 yesterday and all the first four are in the sixes.

After watching just 40 mins I`m amazed at how many cars go through and just how quick they get them through............ Or is the vid clipped??

If not, the pod and shakey town staff could learn a thing or two from these guys ;)

Well it was a close fought contest, with Lutz being overall Unlimited class winner by a couple of tents.

Larry Larson got to run a 6.16@218mph to establish a new world street car record, beating Andy Frosts 6.40.

For me, his test run of 4.00@ 188mph in the 1/8th was unbelievable. The 5 second barrier will be very soon. Especially when you think his truck has done less than 10 runs on a new build.

Incredible so this guy is running quicker than 70% of the promods that run at the pod ??? and is a street driven car ????

Staggering, it wasn't that many years ago that 5 seconds was Top Fuel territory.
It will no doubt add more fuel to the fire, did it run that time in full street trim or it's stripped down for the track running on alky mode?

I would've thought Alky deffo, with 28lbs of boost or whatever its like having 15:1 CR. Apart from the wheelie bars which obviously they can't run on the road?????....it would be interesting to know exactly the difference between Street and Race trim apart from the fuel/wheelie bars and boost....wonder if those race transmissions come with the facility for a speedo?

Larsons car and other TT cars adapt well to street driving with 3.89 gears and 36" tall "Street ;) rubber"....no boost and 55mph at tickover on 1000hp motor only engines, there not strained much, but as we all know they are out and out Pro- Mod cars....lights and all the rest just makes it "legal" so we can call it the worlds fastest Street Car, load of bo55ocks really but its a quick well sorted Race Car and a good event.
