Does it count in a rail? My friend Lindsay Duechar's ex top methanol rail now with a 2.2 Honda motor in Malta, this was the 1st time out with the car, hoping to go over 200mph when it's all set up

Rail or no rail, it still counts to me & that little Honda certainly does shift ...

Thanks for sharing :thumbright:

Wayne Saunders lives near me. Real nice guy.

Ford USA were so impressed with the 7 second Focus that they bought the car, and asked him to drive it at NHRA/IHRA events. It won at least one event, and set several records.

Wayne was injured when he rolled John Hales’ 8 second 56 Chevy in the lights at the 2004 Gary's Picnic, and I don't think he has raced since.

Last time I visited, he still had a Cossie powered Karmann Ghia.

Pleased to hear that Jerry. It's a while since I've spoken to him.

Also, I think I'm wrong about Ford buying the Focus. I believe they were so impressed with the Probe, that they commissioned the Focus to be built (by Hauser?), since they were about to launch it in the States.

Of course, I might have got this all round my neck - I have the memory of a goldfish these days :help:
