I inboarded the springs and then cut the wheel arches out for more clearance, didn't look good but the body was rotting from the bottom up anyway.
Les, I thought a more modest set up might stir the imagination of those people just wanting a bit of street/strip fun.

Dodge Dart GTS 3150# with driver 440 RB, eagle rods, J E domes 12.7.1 comp, mopar.590 solid cam with 1.5 isky iron adjustable rockers, edelbrock RPM heads ported by MCH, milled to 76 cc , victor intake, QF 1050 dominator on a 2" adaptor, 727 reverse pattern, 9" UCC converter stalls at 5000 rpm.
31x10.5 hoosier slicks, dana 60 with 4.56 gears and a spool, 35 spline strange shafts, SS springs, front sections clamped adjustable rear shocks, calvert 90/10 on the front.
Best time and speed with with wheel spin 10.14 at 132.88 mph 1.47 60ft. On a good day averages 1.40-1.43
best ever 60ft 1.36

Yes Mick, its not just for 9>10 secs cars, its for all, all the way to your 16 sec car if you wanna post it up, my old 4 speed Cuda only ran 14.2, put your satelite up if you want, its all good info. The idea is for people to ask questions and discuss the set ups as well.

Am I the only one loving this thread ?
Ok. So a lot of members aren't into the race side of our cars , but I'd say it was about 50% ?
It's been a life long dream of mine to run a Mopar on the track. Its going to be a long and slow journey starting from the bottom rung of the ladder , but I'll chase it till I'm in my box !!!
God willing I'll be posting up a 318 b body more door on this thread later in the year. So let's have some stock times !

Great thread idea Les.
No questions yet. Still studying the posts. :read2:

This was the 340 1971 Cuda as I bought it as posted earlier. I guess this is what you will find most of as far as Streetable tuning goes on a lot of cars.

All stock with stock interior, 3600lbs with Driver??...mods were>

Holley Strip Dominator
750 Holley
DC. .484/284 hyd cam, hyd rockers
Bone Stock 2.02 Heads
10.3:1CR w/steel shim h-gasket
Small Tube Headers
727 with Shift kit
B&M Super Holeshot 3500 verter
3.55 gears, 8.75" Posi
8 x 26" M&H crinkle slicks
Best was 13.2/101 mostly 13.3
that equates to around 300HP, put that in a 3300lb A bod and you will have 12.9 sec car.
