New project, not a Mopar!

Post by sinny »

Came across this at a price too good to turn down! A one owner, fully original XR4x4 2 litre DOHC.
Only 66k miles, owned by an old guy who bought it brand new & it's been sitting in his garage since 2009.

Nice! Are you going to use it regularly or try & preserve it? Does it need much doing?

Questions questions :read2:

Underneath needs a good clean & paint, rear arches need some rust repair, fuel lines need replacing, then just need to got through the brakes, service it & job done.
Think my old man wants it when finished.

I thought the were all 2.9's but the vin & paperwork all checks out as a 2.0. It has every mot, all log books, even the original sale sheet.

Bananarama! hell Pete I hope not!!

Looks good :thumbright: nice that it doesn't need much work. The 2.8/2.9s were Cologne V6s, brother had a 2.8 2wd version.

I've had 4x4 and 2wd versions, both 2.8i. Both Bananarama! I didn't care about so they got ragged mercilessly. I learned to lap roundabouts on opposite lock in both :D
