Not a great fan of 1/8 th mile racing , but man some of these times are impressive.

Mossy, when you watch it, it's great. Some of the best drag racing I have seen was a couple of years in NY at a 1/4 & 1/8th mile event....

To be honest lots of machines are begging for that finish line when running the quarter its all done at the 1/8 that prob makes this clip even more impressive because a lot of turbo mtrs pull hard at the big ende,,,,,,,

I would imagine even less room for error would certainly make for good racing

We don't see any 1/8th mile action here but in the states it's massive, you'll see loads of street cars running the distance on Saturday nights.
I think it's crackin stuff, all the really strong acceleration is achieved in the first half of a regular track anyhow, anything that pulls well over 3figures in the 1/8th gets my respect, let alone twice that
