It is and they should. Especially when the mod makes the light smaller and less visable just to change the co,our slightly and more so when there are cars made Sept 65 and earlier that do have red indicators!

Another moan is chuffing VOSA and motorhome weights/payloads. Our van is plated at 3500kg. If I get pulled into a weigh ridge by the Wombles and its over I get fined and have to ditch some weight. But, and this is my point, I can have the weight raised by a company via a paper excersize for £200ish. To say 3700kg. Nothing physical on the van changes, not the tyres, suspension etc. then all of a sudden it's safe!

I despair I really do.

Mine seem revers lamps have been modified, no reverse lamps now. I haven't checked the modification but plan to have a look and try wire in some while led's for reverse somewhere.

I remember my old Dad back in 75 grafting orange indicators front and back on our Killewr pinto ;)
the kicker was he used round indicators next to the back lights now at the time the car was ultra modern he used some early 60,s round wolsely lights,,,,,,,, so wrong at the front same deal he removed the real nice triangle type sidelights/indicators made up a triangle plate and used i think old austin cambridge round lights they were half orange/and half clear for sidelights,,,,,,, it Bananarama! the look of the car for me,,,,,,,,,,, i can see now i own err severall pinto,s why at least he made the rear legal there is no physical chassis at the rear its moulded floor pans all the way to the back bumper from under the front seats so he did not want some berk rear ending us due to flashing red brake lights,,,,, and the ultimate pinto problem engulf us in flames,,, later he saw that ford uk actually used to fit dolomite sprint complete rear light units in to the imported Aussie ford fairmonts etc so he ended up fitted a set of them, i said ffs dad i am gonna kick you in the balls he said hey son give me a chance i said set em swingin then,,,,,, :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Amber bulb in place of the reverse bulb.
Wiring is there for the reverse to be used, just got to find a good LED for the reverse.
