Slowly getting there, just doing a little every evening. Finished trimming the carpet and started refitting the console.
A before and after of the seat backs, all the plastics are faded like this.

need to refit the seats to help hold the carpet down along the doors.

That’s come up well, Dave. What did you use to brighten that?

They're just painted Stu, doubt there'd be anything that would bring the colour back. Ideally the whole interior needs replacing but I'm happy with how its turned out for now.

Dave you can get paint for the interior, and if you send a sample they can make it to the colour.

I had some done for my dash years ago, if you want I can try and find out more

Thanks Ali, it's just the hard plastics I'm painting atm. Most of the vinyl is okay apart from the back seat which is faded at the top but that'll need recovering at some point as it's starting to split.

peanut butter will bring back the colour to plastic

sounds daft but the oil in it is somehow just right for getting into the oxidised surface and making it darken again

works on 1980s grey plastic bumpers

dunno how long the effect lasts

i found this

Wow  thanks Dave.

I would never thought of that, how do folk even discover this sort of thing :-k
ahh well I've started so might as well carry on with what I'm doing so it all matches

Suppose then you'd have to stick an allergen warning on the car to avoid getting sued :D

Carpets in, plastics freshened up and I'm pleased with the result, looks so much better.
