Best place to get steel wheels

I'm looking to put some wide steels on my 68 Satellite. 15x10"& 15x7"or 8"
Not many seem to stick these in the correct offset, ie 00.
Already looked on Northants tyres website and they've only got the Mopar Rallye in the correct offset.
I'm just after some plain steels
Anybody got any info.
Thanks

Probably best to talk to Mark at WASP, he'll be able to get you what you need.

Agreed - Vintiques do them in a variety of off-sets and WASP can import for you. Did this on my '67 Dart.

Cheers for that. Search around for ages. I'll have a word with them

I have some 4.5" pcd 15x7's for sale, which I need to list at some point :)

I bought my 15x10's (with custom offset which took ageeeeeeeeeeees to make) from Summit racing direct. Worked out about the same as Northants tyres in the UK.

As said above , mark at wasp will be able to get these for you, they are available from wheel vintiques and the 8" rears come in either 4" or 4.5" back spacing.

Managed to get some NOS Crager/Weld Draglites
10x15 & 6x15
Plus he's got some 8x15 as well.
Just wondering which to use on the front 6 or 8
Spoke to Northants tyres and he reckons a 6" rim will easily take a 235 tyre, but after looking around, the consensus is a max width of 205 for a 6" rim

What are people's thoughts

Ive got 235s on an old set of unused 6" rims and they bulge out all over the place. I also have 235 on my current 7" steels and even there you can see a slight bulge.
I hate tyre squeal and prefer tyres that are correct fit. On my rear 15x8 8 have 255s and they sit just right.

Think I'll put the 8's on the car with a 235/60/15
Don't really want any problems occurring when going into a corner

Looks like the 6's will be up for sale

235 might look a bit skinny on the rears. 255 rolls well.

You have a lot of weights on your wheels Miles, I got my wheels on Tuesday, I have been at it all week, you cant ballence these wheels on the centre hole, they are all over the place, you need a 5 bolt adapter for the balancer, just got mine sorted today, 35 to 40g inside only, probably part of your mistery vibration :thumbright: Dave

Got 10x15's for the rear so they'll have 275/60/15

Moparnutz, due, could you post a link to said adaptor please? Not heard of that before.
Much of my vibration is down to shagged UJs but I also had a rhythmic vibration prior to that so any help readily accepted :thumbright:
