68 dart rear quarter progress

Post by gmopar59 »

Well, eventually bit the bullet and order the rear quarters for the dart (AMD) Thanks to Ron at STS for shipping them to England and then a local NI courier over to here. Replacing both sides and repairing the front fenders, they needed new metal at the bottoms. I've hummed and hawed over the colour - from bronze orange to B5 ish blue and can't decide so it will remain the same SS1 yellow but with my new scat pack bumble bee stripe. Should be back on the road next spring.

Good choice on the colour! Always loved that car when it was over here and it should look even better with a fresh coat of paint! 8-)

It's really great to see that car getting the attention it deserves, an old favourite of mine.

Keep the pictures and progress coming!

Yes, guilty as charged. Great car and it will be a lot better than I had it when you are completed. Credit to you :thumbright:

One of my favourite car & colour combinations. Can't wait to see it finished.
You can't have too much power, only a lack of traction!
