A Question for the Rivet Counters!

Post by Bilko »

Browsing through some Mopar car ads and came across this:

"Plymouth Cuda. This is a real deal factory optioned V code 440 6 barrel N96 Shaker hood. Car was originally FE5 Rallye Red, with Red interior which is very rare. Registered with Galen Govier this is 1 of only 2 V codes built red on red. The Black paint has some blemishes but no rust or dents. (All Original Sheet Metal) It looks way too good to change the color right now. Correct Transmission, engine is dated 1968. Shaker hood and bubble / base are Original OEM. All body numbers match VIN and fender tag. Runs and drives Excellent!".

So according to this, my FE5 red on red V-code car is 1of 2? This can't be right as I've seen at least 2 other FE5/red interior '70 Cudas out there, but where do people get these figures? I've only been able to find how many V code cars were built in 1970, hardtop/convertible/auto/manual etc. and didn't think the factory kept records of paint/interior colors etc.? :? :?

You can't have too much power, only a lack of traction!
