Just need to fab a new firewall plate and the column is done.

Other than the cast bezels at the top, everything has been tidied up and lightened.

Found a couple of hours Today to finish off fabbing up the shifter cover. Bit more finessing and it can be riveted together for the next stage.

Wow, that looks neat work, you'll be restoring aircraft next. Those rivets look like they were borrowed from Duxford!

Yes Aircraft skin pins, excellent for temporary assembly. Cover is at this stage now, and column bulkhead cover is done.

I used some half round styrene from a modelling supplier to add the edge detail. It bends easily to shape with a hot air gun and a bit of care, weatherstrip adhesive seems to stick it to ally easily enough. Just need to do some finishing off and then I can take a mould off it.
