Winter upgrades finally started! Torque Thrust originals to replace the borrowed wheels for my slicks. I had the paint bead blasted off the centres in a further attempt to get the look of the original wheels.

Ta, just need to raise the money to get some matching fronts with lightweight tyres for the track.

Braced up the brake pedal pad which was bending due to my over exuberant pumping of the pedal while setting the line lock. Steering column out for some mods and to fit a new indicator switch. Diff out to fit a forged 1350 yoke in preparation for getting a new prop made.

I have to take out the shifter and do some wiring, much easier with the seats out.

Are you going for a custom chrome moly prop? When I did all my upgrades Geoff Hauser said the weak point I had were the diff and trans yokes. I upgraded to Strange 1350 ones. Shame I can't pull wheelies like you are doing. Will be in touch soon.

Yes I'll get a custom prop built with a billet 1350 front yoke. I'm thinking at the moment of getting an aluminium prop from the States.

In an attempt to run more consistently in super stock I’m fitting a shifter solenoid. I can program my ignition system to operate it automatically at any RPM I like. It still allows me to operate the shifter manually the rest of the time. Unfortunately I have to fit a different shifter which means adapting it to the existing mount to fit it. It also requires 3 relays so I fabricated a mount for those. Fair bit of work but if it works like it should it will be worth the effort.

Interesting Blue!
How are you working out your peak power/shift points.
Based on experience or are you getting it dyno'd?

Luckily there was enough space on my electrics panel to mount the relay bank, so that's all sorted.
