Winter upgrades commence, the monster 11" brakes that came with the axle swapped out for the correct A body 10" size that I've been collecting parts for over the summer. With the A bodies tendancy to be a bit tail happy on a greasy road, the last thing you want is more rear brake than standard. And they weigh less...

Yes you really do have to strip this much out the change the carpet on a '68 fastback....

Burning was the only fix for that carpet! New carpet set from Stock Interiors, all the rear sections come precut and somewhat typically for the aftermarket, slightly too small

Might as well give all the metalwork a coat of paint while its out, I'm in no rush here....
