Andy only uses moly these days, it’s at least double the price of CDS these days. It’s a shame the seat belt bar had to go in so high but it’s correct for my height. You’re building another car? Didn’t see that coming…

:D I always say that but never really get round to it, I've just amassed a load of spare parts over the years. The 580 motor carb to pan will be spare sometime next season. Anything below 3000lb with that in would easily run 8's when sorted.

Wasn’t happy with the cage so Andy kindly altered it to how I originally envisaged it.

Thanks Pete, still need to “restore” the headrest and dye it blue to match the rest. I’ll cut my other headrest down to swap in for road use.

know you’re all about weight reduction, but I reckon you’ll be more comfortable if you put the seats back in. :-k :D

What’s the plan?

Paint the cage and get it back together a bit sharpish!

Seriously underestimated how long it would take to mask up, took 2 of us 5 hours  Anyway it’s in primer, top coat Tomorrow.

Popped the top off the paint this morning and realised the colour was way lighter than it was supposed to be  quick dash to the paint shop for another go and it’s all good. Interior colour matches the door panels and its body colour in the boot. Glad that jobs out of the way it’s been bugging me for many months.

That’ll do, gives me a whole 3 hours Tomorrow to prep the car before heading off to the track….
