Thanks I have been building up a bit of a collection of classic cars since my last time here and even some modern muscle but the latest addition is a 1970 Charger

haha yea that's the one and obviously not to some peoples liking after reading that thread but i don't relay do totally standard that often and i didn't pay the prices mentioned there!

It is very straight and i also got a flashdrive with loads of pictures during its early full bare metal restoration as well as ones from its recent respray from red to black and all look's relay good body and floor wise, interior is in good condition with only a couple of wee issues that are easily sorted out. The only thing im unsure of is the engine and box as the guy i bought it from didnt know much about it other than he bought it as a genuine 20,000 mile car but couldn't back it up and there was not many pictures of the engine during the cars restoration other than a picture with the heads off but i have removed the sump and it looks like its got new pistons and honed barrels so i will try and contact the previous owner to see if he can shed any more light on it.

No not going to make it tonight Sandy due to work commitments and i need a new sump for it too as i bottomed it out and burst it the first run i had it out as it hangs so low down because it had been fitted with a deep pan sump! any suggestions where would be best to get a new one and gaskets quickly?
