Vynil roof removal

Post by Steve Chapman »

Anybody removed a vynil roof, is it as easy as I think.
Rip it off, rub down , paint. Or are there some pitfalls,... any advice.
Cheers.

The pitfalls are when you take it off theres likely to be rust underneath. Just take all the trim off first then pull.
Are we there yet dad ..... 10 to the gallon but worth it.

the vinyl is behind the moulding clips steve,so impossible to fully remove without removing front and rear screens, unless its ruff, leave alone.

And a roof that looks nice and smooth under a vinyl roof can be covered in dents.....🤤

Right ...Thats it, will leave it alone. Heard manufacturers kept all the "dodgy roofed" shells for vynil options. Sounds like I could be opening a can of worms. Plus glass removal is an added pain.
