Again thanks for the help with my build guy's
For those that can bear to look at a Ford
A new paint job and maiden voyage all went well. 430 to wales and back with a nice 28mpg
I even got 2nd place best MK3 ,, must have been that engine
Really really love the car, had more fun last weekend than I did with the GXL in 2 years. Can park it where I like and the sound is FAB !
Pulls like a train with from 8 mph in 3rd and 30mph up hill in forth

Looks really good, and 430 miles is a good test. Well done, you should be very proud of your achievement.

28MPG I did calculate around 25/6 due to the fact the engine has massive torque for such a light car, using the standard 2 barrel carb .
Don't get me wrong, I don't get 28mpg round town, but that probably due to me driving it like .I just got a new Raleigh chopper

Well the summer is going really well, Ive had more enjoyment with this Cortina in three months than 3 years with the last one.
I do have a few things to sort but loving the car . A little on road action footage about 6 mins of MOPAR
