i run a 904 reverse pattern manual(a great job by blue a good few years ago)
shifts real hard and is great fun
also run a kilduff shifter-even more fun and looks the part(runs off a standard cable)

better view
the column shift has now gone and all the kickdown stuff.
the short lever on left i use for normal street driving
the other two are 1-2nd then 2nd to 3rd(which the short lever does as well 1-2-3)
you can also use all levers to downshift and they auto set themselves to correct position whichever one you use.
confused?
😀

So had a look a a video of the kilduff lightning rod shifters... very cool... Question, looks like you can you use them on a full auto box? Without having to go full reverse or forward manual? Or are there then issues with kick down.... Excuse me if I’m getting mixed up #-o

You can spec it for forward or reverse pattern Dorian, doesn't matter if it's auto or not and kick down is unaffected.

I also have this original '70s lenco shifter which I've thought about modifying to work an automatic one of these days...
