Another newbie

Greetings all.
I've wanted a Challenger or a Cuda (Could never make up my mind which I liked best - still cant!) ever since they were still making them. I remember feelings of dismay when I read in Custom Car in 1974 that they were stopping production, even though at 19 I had zero chance of affording a new car!
I've had most of my bucket list cars, the last a 59 El Camino which I sold 18 months ago. Been looking for an E body since then.
Couldn't really pay the price for a nice one but I couldn't be doing with a rusty one - I looked at 1 or 2.
Last week I finally found the right car - it had been advertised on Car & Classic UK a month or so ago but when I called, the guy said his missus had talked him out of selling it and he was taking it with him to the US. Then last Sunday he emailed again to say I could buy it after all.
Drove down to Essex on Tuesday with a bag of cash. It was exactly as he described it, no rust damage at all apart from the trunk floor and a bit on the lower LH quarter. Interior a bit shot, but some good bits remain. Runs OK.
Its a fairly base model 1970 with a 318 & auto. Has few minor dings, no big deal. Was a vinyl roof car, its been taken off ...and amazingly there were no rust holes underneath.
It was imported in 2012, never registered but went thru an MOT in 2014. Runs but the gas has gone stale.
Plans are to register it and restore & upgrade, to what extent I'm undecided. Might get a late hemi, or the 318 might get a stroker kit. Will certainly get discs on the front and some handling improvements.
