Jeep rear axle
Does anyone know if the English Jeep has the same rear end as the US ONE PLEASE? (2007 Grand Cherokee)

Is it parts you are after ?
I have a couple of half shafts, and some other bits, left over from putting a jeep Dana 45 HD axle in my Dart.

I have a whining diff, think it's possibly worn gears, but over here the price is around £500, in the US, they're around $200!!!!!!

Re: Jeep rear axle
Normally whining diff is worn bearings, either the carrier bearings or pinion bearings.
If that is the case, a good UK bearing supplier should be able to supply.
You need to strip and inspect. If you don't feel its in your capability a gearbox/axle preconditioner may be able to help.
Bexhill gearboxes, in Bexhill funnily enough, can handle axle repair work.
Depends where you are located, check your local area.
