leaf centre pin & axle alignment

Post by Coupe66 »

Hi All,

Had to cut the centre bolts/pins off to separate and rebuild my rear springs on my charger, can I get away with using a cap head/hex bolt rather
than the correct centre bolts.

My other question is how important is the axle alignment on the back end, would there be any 'tracking' issues.

Yes you can use a capscrew. Make sure the head is the correct diameter for the spring perch so correct alignment is maintained and you should have no issues.
