New Member (1968 dodge Charger)

Post by ChargingForward »

Hey all!

New member here from the South West... Namely Swindon. Just bought a 1968 Dodge Charger 7.2L V8 440 big block in R/T colours and logos (not a original R/T unfortunately). Before you ask yes it is the one from North Yorkshire with an eye watering price tag  but it's in pristine condition and well... It's shiny and I wanted it :D Waiting on delivery now and trying to sort out insurance so I can get her on the road ASAP.

Does anyone have a rough idea what it would go for market value? Brentacre want an agreed valuation, I'm not expecting anywhere near what I paid for it but it would be nice to get a rough estimate. Cheers and enjoy the photos :)

Wow! very nice. You're in good company down your neck of the woods - lots of members down Swindon way.

Re Insurance valuations, I'd contact Tony Oksien ( tonyoksien@hotmail.com ), the MMA's official valuer :salute:

Check this thread too... viewtopic.php?f=1&t=56816

Tony can provide a valuation letter that you can present to any insurance company for use with an agreed value policy.

or... if you're planning on taking the car to Santa Pod at the end of the month - Mopar EuroNats - he can do a valuation there for you.

God luck :thumbright:
