Electric in line fuel pumps.

Just wondered whether anybody ever bothers to install low pressure in line electrical fuel pumps to the fuel line,to eliminate cranking forever and vapour lock after vehicles have been stood a while.
Seems a good idea to me, any thoughts .

Hi Richard, If the car has been standing for a while I always like the idea of the engine cranking for a while before it fires, so some oil can get around the engine and some oil pressure builds up ?
cheers

depends where you put the pump
low pressure electric pumps are pushers. so it would need to be under the tank
your mechanical pump by its nature is a sucker and a pusher. and its pretty good at both hence it works where it is up the front.
i.e i'd choose one or the other but not both
