we make bespoke braided stainless brake flexis at work and the line/pipe comes on 'cable drums'. these usually get skipped but i brought one home last week to find another use for it. dawn is going to do some decoupage using 70's hotrod mags i have around the drum area so i'll show you the finished job then but here it is so far after making some 'feet' and giving it a lick of paint.

cheers and yes upcycling they call it now. we used to call it making good use of old junk the cat is one of ten we own who all gave it a good sniff inspection

That's amazing. We've just rescued a little lady. She's lovely.
So we now have a cat , leopard gecko, western hog nose snake , oh .... And 3 hedgehogs have recently come back out of hibernation for a snack

yeah ten, plus 4 dogs and a hamster
