At a glance they look like a regular hex shaped nut, but they are stamped out from a flat piece of steel into a nut shape. Rather than a threaded middle there's just a few angled blades in lieu of a thread that carve a thread into the plastic shaft of a badge / side marker etc...
Sometimes they have a washer stamped into them and sometimes the washer has a few tines punched into them that look a bit like a carpet gripper. Presumably those are to cut through paint to make earth connections like on a rear light cluster?

Kev, how many do you need, I do have a few, I'll bring some over in the morning, just hope they are the right size.

Wouldn't get this on Facebook!!!!

Yes they are the ones I will need 16 in total as I seem to have managed to lose all of mine but any I can get might get me out of trouble for now!!
If OER do them I will get a new set ordered up for later.(thanks Andy)

Many thanks for all the response

See you tomorrow Del :salute:

ooh matron, :love3: Kev, I can call by John's around 9am Friday as I'm over that way, then call in to you a little later, that's if John is about, or maybe he can hide them by the gate. It may be best if I phone John. #-o

Look identical to what I strip off Ford badges at work. Anyone know a rough thread size ?
If they're usable on our old mopes I'll save them , rather than chucking them :thumbright:

With a bit luck John might have the right nuts and Del is collecting them for me today-So later I will see if Del has Johns nuts in his hands & we can see if they are big enough-(I'm sure they will be) [-o<
