That’s down to Tony at American Car imports who ran a campaign to push through the ruling, all done by him because he felt it was the right thing & no monetary gain to be had

Managed to search posts on their FB page to ascertain that all plates are pressed and get an image of exactly what I was after on the font detail from one of their old posts.

Doesn’t look like they are that active on there either, but they did reply a short while ago and verify the same information.

It looks like the plates I have must have come from somewhere else that has just used the same format as states plates with the corner year detail and border, as they aren’t pressed. I wanted to be sure I want going to get the same thing again.

Got an order in now and hoping won’t take too long.

States Plates were great for Mandie's truck, pressed raised letters and exactly as the image you create, including text and logos top and bottom which are also pressed.
About £50 the pair.

I like this idea, RDM 560 would be good as a show plate.

I’ve ordered and just waiting on a delivery date. Did they take long to arrive, or is the 28 days in their t&c’s realistic? Looks to me like offices have moved to France, but production is still in uk, from some FB posts I’ve seen. :-k

The ones I have definitely look like rip offs of the layout, but not States Plates as not pressed.

Received today. Poor communication (no response) to follow up emails, but the plates look fantastic.

Shame the cars broken so no one will see them.
