As title, seem to be getting a lot of weird posts lately especially today. Can't see how the scammers would pay for access so wondering if we've been hacked.

You dont need to pay for access - I joined free few days ago and expected to pay £20-odd fee as it used to be but I was surprised to go on forum after a quick registration.

Im guessing someone set up a bogus account and is spamming

Hope it's not a scam, just bought some little blue tablets. And a US passport...

Sound this is my cheerie place away from all the usual fake news, adds and other BS dross that generally floods the internet.

Hi all, no the forum hasn't been hacked but despite implementing what measures are available, it's very difficult to block all the BOTs while allowing self-registration. We may have to change it to Admin approval but we're on a bit of a suck-it-and-see exercise at the moment. I'll get on to this again tomorrow and see how we can improve the situation.
