Here we go, 2012 this car was painted.....
Then left outside for 5 yrs in Edinburgh. Every panel was showing something or other. Deal done and a vision in mind we make a start.

Thanks for posting up pictures of your ride.

Good to see it is getting the attention it deserves.

Cheer's Pete. I am working on the car each evening after work. Just for the record I am not a mechanic or a body work guy. I just enjoy the hobby and doing everything myself. All the welding is now done and filled in. Both sides are pretty straight or as good as I can achieve. I pulled off the original vinyl roof a couple of days ago. I was dreading the outcome as you could feel lots of hard lumps under it. I thought the roof was going to be toast. To my surprise it is in remarkable condition with the original red paint still present. The lumps turned out to be lumps of glue.

Few more of the vinyl being removed and the task of removing the glue and paint off the roof. Been sanding back for 14 hours so far and found my little 2" sander the best with 80 grit discs.
