Seems like a good time to get this to the top of the list again.

For those not following on FB, it's still looking good for the 18th and the weather for the weekend looks promising :)

Fair to say there have been a few issues, the latest being the Cafe will be closed, so you'll need to bring your own sandwich, but the car park will be open to use with no charging in place and the Cafe toilets will be available for use.

Looking forward to seeing some of you there :thumbright:

Thanks Dom, yes will be good to see you again!
I just saw on FB that Sharan said the cafe will be closed but tbh we'd be bringing our own anyway... just hope the loos will be available!
If not, we'll have to run down to the sea... :flush:

It's billed as starting at 11:00, but Sharan the organiser is likely to be there from 10:00.

Can anyone with as bit of local knowledge recommend a more traffic-free route onto the A259 than the obvious A23, if coming from the north/M25 direction?
Last time we did this journey (last Sept) it was a bit stop/start for the last few miles so just wondered if there's a less popular route?

Looking on google maps/streetview, the route down the B2123 from the A27 looks good until you get to Ovingdean / Rottingdean, where it gets a bit narrow and looks like it could be just a busy at weekends as the main A23 route :-k

Any suggestions?

Sit in the traffic and let everyone admire your car.
