Thanks Blue, as I said going for a Day Two look. Still undecided on a wheel tyre combo but period aftermarket.

Cragar 5 spokes or Keystones?

As this is clearly not a penny pinching exercise, may I suggest a restored set of Keystone Kustomags?

I’ve been looking at lots of back in the day pictures and Cragars certainly seemed to be the wheel of choice. Tyre selection is another thing, you can get Firestone Wide Oval tyres in a radial which I quite like the look of as the tread pattern looks fairly period.

It seems to me that the main thing (especially in winter) is the quality of the car's grip on the road, and not the tread pattern. Although everyone has their own requirements and wishes. Someone's drawing is also important.

Here are a few detail photos as the car starts going back together. We have tried to avoid using reproduction parts wherever possible and this has meant tracking down many original Chrysler parts that were missing and reconditioning them as required.
Will be an absolute stunner when finished, I would hate to think of the hours, upon hours to research, locate, refurbish missing parts
