Found about this meet on facebook, thought we'd give it a try today...
It's at a hotel on the A6 between Bedford and The Pod, where the Corvette Nats is held these days, plus many other car shows throughout the year.

Consequently it was well-attended by the Corvette crowd, plus the usual overload of modern Mustangs, Challengers & Camaros. And Don Scott put in an appearance

Had a nice chat with Richard Eaton who the oldies here will remember from his days racing his 'Quick Draw' Duster and before that his 70 Roadrunner, later owned by Nick Wood (formerly of this parish)

We are going there Friday for a Drive In Movie. Have been there once before for a car event, they are quite well set up and get more in the space than you'd think possible.

So it wasn't just modern muscle. Did Don drive the Bird there?

I've seen that Firenza at Brooklands and possibly a couple other places over the years, nice to see it again
It was mostly modern, like a lot of these events are these days but I dont think it was intended to be for either new or old, just 'American' (and the odd South African )
Yes Don did drive there... well he drove from the car park near the entrance to the grassy bit where I took the pics... about 100 yards
Apparently he was invited by the hotel owner/organiser (Ciro) and given a room for the night.
