Few hours out today. Been a lovely day.

Had a fettle with the idle mixture today and shes got her mojo back. Richer mix and she suddenly smoothed out. Did it on the vac gauge to be a bit more accurate with the adjustment. 60 miles or so, purring again :thumbright:

Always good to see your photos steve! Scotland looks amazing. Here in chichester it is packed to the brim with traffic and people! Barely any breathing room! You are lucky!

Cheers James, exactly why I moved back. Call me anti social but was out for about 2 hrs and could literally count on one hand the number of cars that passed me.

Downside, no E5 locally, still  Still got a a tiny bit of fettling to do on the car and plans nearly done for my garage so hoping she is undercover by next winter, fingers crossed.

Cheers Steve :thumbright:

As a holiday destination, I absolutely love Scotland. And Cornwall, Devon, the Lake District... but ever since I was a schoolboy and started going to gigs, I thought I wouldn't want to be so far away from London that I'd miss out, and I still feel the same way, 45 years later :D
Case in point... the last 2 months I've been to 9 gigs, including the Royal Albert Hall, The London Palladium, Wembley Arena and some smaller places like Brixton, Shepherds Bush, Islington and Camden Town... all of which were within about 1.5 hours from home, a few miles north of the M25. The point being that in most cases, these bands only play a handful of dates in the UK and 95% of the time will include London. That's my excuse for putting up with the rat race, anyway

People at concerts arent what they used to be. I used to love going but dont now. Most are spoiled by over zealous security, people talking all through the show and my pet hate, everyone videoing then not watching the concert while they talk to their friends and post it on Facebook.

My last concert was a few months ago, Del Amitri at Barrowland in Glasgow. Favourite band, bucket list venue....never again!

Horses for courses as they say. I would happily travel for the shows I want to see but cant be bothered with the masses at them anymore.

And as for Christmas..... :P :P :P :D :D

Gave up on the Cinema, people on their mobiles and screens lighting up. Off thread, apologies. :banghead:

Yip, thats another 'casualty' for me. Used to go every week but got sick of people talking all through the film! :banghead:

As you say, off thread, sorry.

Anyway, anyone else managing to get a few miles in? Would love to see some pics of our Mopars out and about. I feel much happier with the way mine is running after the tweeks yesterday. I was back to 18 HG manifold vac but that dropped a bit by the time I got back home. Still more like it used to be though :thumbright:

We did 80 miles on Thursday morning and then 100 yesterday evening (avoiding the M1  ), to and from the NEC, but no 'road trip' photos unfortunately :?

I'd booked today off as a recovery day after the NEC show, so went for a small local drive.

Dave, well done, glad you had the opportunity to drive your Mopar today and I agree with Steve, car does look good. Need to display it at next year's NEC show!

Done 288 miles on saturday, colchester to newcastle.
Managed to get out of colchester without incedent!
Took a wrong road due to a diversion around stanstead area but then picked up the fourwentways sign and then i knew where i was , continued on to duxford turned right then on the right road for hone👍🏻👍🏻
