Still undertaking the refresh on my Coronet Steve, but mild weather here in Cornwall means I usually drive mine all year round.

Hi Miles, same here, the miroclimate in South West Scotland is very mild so we rarely get snow. Thankfully, the roads where I am are never salted so it's looking good for continued year round use

I thought cornwall roads were too tight for american cars? Good to hear I was wrong. I want to be working on my car during my free time but have to wait until spring.

Went for a burble out to Jims last weekend to pick up some trim bits and have a cup of tea. Seemed to like the cool air and back before the rain came.
I’ll go for a drive on dry days and keep it ticking over through the winter, unless I get brave and decide it’s time to pull the motor and trans in the new year.

Why do you want to pull the drivetrain on a working car?

If you're going to pull it do it a bit sharpish, it will be April before you know it!

Got several small leaks, one from the back and the sump needs sorting, plus I bodge fixed the trans leak, but have a new ali pan for it and planned to helicoil the offending corner. Trans is leaking from the rear too now.

If you’re going to pull the trans you could always drop it down to me if you wanted it going over…

Cheers Blue, that sounds like a plan. Would be good to pitch in and learn if that’s cool.
